Effective January 1, 2024, there will be two vacant seats on Fredericktown Village Council. These vacant seats provide an opportunity for civic minded individuals to serve their community in the legislative capacity. Ohio Revised Code 731.02 requires that council members reside in the village for no less than one year prior to sitting on Council. Each member of council must also be a registered voter in the village, holding no other elected office, must have no interest in any village contracts, and must hold no employment with the Village. Application materials must be submitted or postmarked no later than December 8, 2023.
